Fletcher Cox, born in 1948, is a woodworker who lives in Tougaloo, Mississippi. He is an adjunct professor at Mississippi State University in the School of Architecture. He is a founding member of the Craftsmen’s Guild of Mississippi. His work is in the permanent collections at the Mississippi Museum of Art, the Fine Arts Museum in Mobile, and the Arkansas Art Center. He is a recipient of the Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts.
