Artist Jason Greene was raised in Mississippi. He was born in 1975. He attended Mississippi State University where he earned a bachelor of finer arts in 1997. He worked for several years as a designer and fabricator of interactive children’s exhibits. Greene is a painter, illustrator, musician, and toy-maker.
Greene created a series of public art pieces for the city of Portland, Oregon, that focused on Portland Fire Fighters in 2004. The artwork is on display in the city’s fire stations.
He currently lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife Jill and their two dogs. Greene has a business, Board Games, that recycles skateboards into children’s toys and furniture.
