Susan Ford Robertson lives in Jackson, Mississippi. She began blowing glass in 1974. Robertson attended the Mississippi University for Women and Penland School in North Carolina. She opened her art studio in Jackson in 1984. In 2005, she and her husband moved to South Carolina.
She was artist-in-residence at Henry S. Jacobs Camp in Utica, the Mississippi Crafts Center in Ridgeland, and Leroy Percy State Park in Hollandale.
Her work is in public and private collections including the Mississippi Museum of Art, the Old Capital Museum, the New Orleans Museum of Art, and the Fine Arts Museum of the South.
She blows glass and creates glass beads for jewelry.
