Biography of Chris Offutt
Author Chris Offutt currently lives in Oxford, Mississippi. He has received awards from the Lannan, Whiting, and Guggenheim Foundations as well as an award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. In addition to his novels, memoirs, and short stories, he has written screen plays for Weeds, True Blood, and Treme. His essays have been published in The New York Times Magazine, Oxford American, and Harper‘s.
