Biography of John Neff

John Neff has a bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic University (1989), a master’s degree from the University of California (1993), and a Ph.D. from the University of California (1998).

Neff is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Mississippi. He is also the Director of the Center for Civil War Research. His book Honoring the Civil War Dead was published in 2005.
