Biography
Tom Dawson, a federal prosecutor in the Northern District of Mississippi for over thirty-five years successfully prosecuted Dickie Scruggs. His book, Kings of Tort: The True Story of Dickie Scruggs, Paul Minor, and two decades of political and legal manipulation in Mississippi, (co-authored with Alan Lange, a political blogger of Y’All Politics) tells the story of this bribery trial.
Having retired in 2009, Dawson currently lives in Oxford, Mississippi, and works as a litigation consultant.
